At this months meeting, we will be featuring Alex Woods from Colorado Department of Public Safety!

Alex Woods is the Human Trafficking Program Coordinator at the Colorado Department of Public Safety, Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ), Office for Victims Programs. In this role, Ms. Woods coordinates various aspects of the Colorado Human Trafficking Council, including her facilitation of the Council’s Survivor Engagement Task Force.

Prior to joining DCJ, Ms. Woods served as the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer for CLEAR II, a global project on child labor at Winrock International, a non-profit organization focused on international development. She also spent four years working in various capacities at Free the Slaves (FTS), a non-profit based in Washington, DC dedicated to liberating victims of human trafficking and changing the conditions that allow human trafficking to persist.
