Freedom for Fremont's Quarterly Community Meeting
Every Quarter Feedom for Fremont offers a meeting that is open to our community. We invite a guest speaker to share experience at this time and open up the meeting to invite conversation about Freedom for Fremont’s mission in our region and what Human Trafficking looks like in our area. This is an in person meeting located at the Canon City Evangelical Free Church (the Annex Building in front of the Church) at 3000 E Main Street Canon City CO 81212.
This month we invite John DiGirolamo, a speaker and acclaimed Christian author of four books, featuring true stories of police officers, human trafficking advocates and survivors, a pro-life doctor, and spiritual warfare. John is the Board President of Bringing our Valley Hope, a nonprofit that provides human trafficking education, awareness and survivor support. He’s also on the parent’s council of Defend Young Minds, a nonprofit that equips parents to defend their children from the harm of pornography. John’s books are sold on Amazon. Loaves and Fishes Mini Academy
Freedom for Fremont has been invited back to the Navigation Center at Loaves and Fishes to share what Human Trafficking looks like in our area and how Freedom for Fremont’s mission can offer help and hope to those individuals. We will have two trauma informed team members share and answer questions.

The Community Meeting is a quarterly meeting designed to introduce to the public our Mission and bring us together to have a conversation about Human Trafficking and what it looks like in our area. We have a guest speaker at these meetings to share about their organization and how we can partner with each other’s organizations.
LCHT All-Day Training – Public Awareness & Response
there are 2 sessions we are running. 10-12 or 1-3pm
Freedom for Fremont is excited to host the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking (LCHT) for a comprehensive, all-day training designed to equip our community to recognize, prevent, and respond to human trafficking. Lunch will be served between sessions.
This engaging workshop will cover:
How to identify red flags and trafficking indicators
Survivor-centered response practices
Legal and community resources available in Colorado
Practical tools to strengthen prevention efforts locally

Global Freedom Summit 2025 (A21 Campaign)
Join us for the A21 Global Freedom Summit on Saturday, October 4, 2025, be there at 10:30, Summit starts at 11:00 AM at Expedition Church, 200 Justice Center Rd, Cañon City, CO 81212.
This one-hour presentation will feature survivor stories, expert insights, and practical steps to prevent human trafficking in our community and beyond. The 2025 summit will highlight the growing threat of online child sexual exploitation and equip us with tools to respond.
💙 Following the summit, lunch will be served — stay to connect with others who are passionate about ending exploitation and supporting survivors.
Freedom for Fremont Community Meeting
Just a heads up! Our next Quarterly Community Meeting is set for September 16th.
We are honored to welcome Jill Brogdan, Human Trafficking Program Coordinator with the Colorado Human Trafficking Council (CHTC), as our guest speaker. Jill will be presenting the Council’s Annual Roadshow, spotlighting the realities of human trafficking in Colorado and the efforts underway to overcome it.
This is a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and connect with others in Fremont County who care about making a difference.

Elizabeth Anne’s Haven Spaghetti Western Fundraiser
Join us Saturday, August 23 at Silver Cliff Ranch for a Spaghetti Western night benefiting Elizabeth Anne’s Haven — a sanctuary for survivors of human trafficking. Enjoy appetizers, a cash bar, dinner, dessert, auctions, a guest speaker, and dancing. Tickets are $70, with all proceeds supporting Bringing Our Valley HOPE.
